I shall live by Dharma, timeless (sanātana), luminous (jyotiṣmatī), and compassionate (karuṇāmayī).

I surrender not to dogma, but to Truth (satya);

Not to blind habit, but to conscious righteousness (dharma).

Let my life be shaped by wisdom (jñāna), nourished by compassion (karuṇā), and guided by integrity (ārjava).

 

I affirm that Dharma is not a rigid code carved in stone,

But a living stream, ever-renewing, flowing through the soul of the cosmos.

I reject narrow creeds and inherited exclusivities,

For no tradition or ideology can claim monopoly on the Infinite (ananta).

I hold that genuine faith (śraddhā) is born from discernment (viveka), not conformity;

That true devotion (bhakti) harmonizes with reason (yukti),

And the path to the Divine opens not through fear (bhaya), but through insight (darśana) and humility (vinaya).

 

In all beings, I see sacred kinship.

I embrace ahiṃsā (non-harming) not as mere abstention from harm,

But as an active love that protects the Earth (Pṛthvī),

Honours all lives, and resists all cruelty, in thought, word, and deed.

Let maitrī (friendship), the spirit of fellowship, infuse my every action.

I remember always that vasudhaiva kuṭumbakam (the whole world is one family)

And that diversity of form, race, language, and faith

Is but the dance of the One in many (ekam aneka-rūpam).

 

I renounce the illusion that truth can be contained by any sect,

Or confined to any heaven (svarga) or hell (naraka) fashioned by fear.

I affirm that Dharma transcends religion (mata) and ideology (vāda).

It is the sacred rhythm that binds spirit and matter, duty and joy, self and all.

May I walk it with śīla (moral character),

Truthful in speech (satya-vāk), just in action (nyāya-karman), selfless in service (niṣkāma-sevā),

Living as if each moment were a sacred offering (yajña).

 

In the depths of silence and in the pulse of life, I recognise the One Reality (Brahman),

Formless (nirākāra), yet present in every form (sākāra).

I bow to Sat–Cit–Ānanda (Being, Consciousness, Bliss), as the essence of all.

May I serve society through dhārmic conduct (nīti),

Uphold justice (nyāya) in every role I assume,

Protect the vulnerable, and act not from ambition, but from sevā (selfless service).

 

I revere the Earth (Pṛthvī) and Sky (Dyauḥ) as sacred parents,

And vow to live in harmony with nature, preserving her balance as a sacred trust.

I honour the arts (kalā) and sciences (vidyā) as gateways to truth and beauty,

And embrace learning that awakens both intellect (buddhi) and heart (hṛdaya).

May I use knowledge, including technology, to heal and uplift, not to exploit or destroy.

 

In governance, in family, in solitude or society,

Let my actions be anchored in Dharma.

May rāja-dharma (just and noble leadership), be restored in every domain,

And may all policies and institutions reflect compassion (dayā), justice (nyāya), and wisdom (jñāna).

 

With quiet reverence, I offer my bhakti not to form or sect alone,

But to the Divine Principle (parama-tattva) that moves within all things.

My devotion is not mere ritual; it is love (prema), it is presence (sannidhi),

It is the silent offering of all I am to all that is.

 

I express gratitude to the ṛṣis (seers), munis (sages), saints, and ācāryas,

Those who have illumined this path, and those yet to come.

I bow in humility before all teachers of truth, in every land and every tongue.

I walk this path not as one who knows,

But as one who seeks, with sincerity (niṣṭhā).

 

Sarve bhavantu sukhinaḥ, sarve santu nirāmayāḥ

Sarve bhadrāṇi paśyantu, mā kaścid duḥkha-bhāg bhavet

“May all be happy, may all be healthy. May all see only the auspicious. May no one suffer.”

 

Oṃ. May all beings everywhere be happy and free.

 

Thus I vow:

 

Let Dharma be my guide,

Truth my light,

Compassion my strength.

I walk this path not for myself alone,

But for the healing of all beings, in all worlds.

This is my vow, whole, clear, and eternal.
